How Fuse and Blendit Learning Are Rewriting the Rules of L&D

Introduction

Some partnerships start with a sales pitch. This one started with a conversation.

In October 2016, Fuse Founder & CEO Steve Dineen sat down with Mads Høj Jensen and Peter Simonsen, the founders of Blendit Learning, the leading digital learning consultancy for the Nordics region. Within minutes, it was clear the three of them were chasing the same goal: freeing learning from rigid, course-centric, admin-heavy systems, and replacing it with something people would actually want to use.

That conversation became a partnership. A decade on, Fuse and Blendit Learning are still working side by side, helping progressive global enterprises such as Demant, Siemens Gamesa and Bestseller build active learning cultures that support continuous, ‘on-the-job’ performance.

Key highlights of the partnership

A complementary fit

Blendit Learning brings the learning design, advisory and implementation expertise. Fuse brings the technology platform that puts that design into practice, in the flow of work. Neither works as well without the other — strip out the platform and even the best learning design has nowhere to live; strip out the design expertise and the smartest platform has nothing worthwhile to deliver.

A shared mission

Both companies are on a mission to rid the world of administrator-based learning management systems — the kind that are course-centric, disengaging, and built around rigid frameworks rather than around people. Together, they help customers pinpoint their specific L&D challenges, work out where they sit on the learning maturity curve, and get the right advice and the right tools, at the right time.

Real results for global enterprises

The partnership now supports learning transformation at organisations including Demant, Siemens Gamesa and Bestseller — helping them shift L&D from a tick-box exercise to a genuine driver of business growth.

A sustainable, recurring business model

Because the partnership works so well for customers, it works well commercially too. Customers typically sign up in three-year cycles with high renewal rates, and demand for add-on consultancy keeps growing as customers do more with the Fuse platform.

In their own words: a shared philosophy on learning

Both companies were founded on similar convictions about what makes learning stick. Here’s how Steve and Mads describe the thinking behind the partnership.

“I believe that to create positive and habitual learning behaviours, we need to enable people to search for and access the right content, in context, at the point of need. The three of us quickly realised we held very similar views on this and the conversation blossomed from there. That was really the beginning of our partnership.”

— Steve Dineen, Founder & CEO, Fuse

“We’d been looking for the right learning tech partner for some time but the platforms we’d looked at just didn’t align with our philosophy for learning. That changed when we met Steve and the Fuse team. We shared the same vision for learning and, most of all, we agreed that formal, social and workplace learning should sit at the heart of that.”

— Mads Høj Jensen, CEO, Blendit Learning

A decade of working together

Steve Dineen met Blendit Learning founders Mads Høj Jensen and Peter Simonsen in October 2016, when a shared philosophy on learning sparked the partnership and Fuse expanded into the Nordic market with Blendit as its first regional partner. In the years since, Blendit has become Fuse’s go-to learning design, advisory and implementation partner for the Nordics, layering consultancy on top of the Fuse platform. Today, that partnership powers active learning cultures at Demant, Siemens Gamesa, Bestseller and other progressive enterprises, with strong three-year renewal cycles and growing demand for consultancy services. Ten years on, in 2026, Fuse and Blendit Learning mark a decade of partnership - proof that a shared vision, applied consistently, builds something lasting.

Why it works for both sides

The partnership isn’t just good for customers — it’s built a genuinely sustainable business model for both companies.

“Through partnering with Fuse we’ve been able to build a very sustainable revenue model. Our customers typically sign up in three-year cycles and because we see a very high renewal rate, we’re now able to plan our continued growth with much more certainty. We’re also seeing regular demand for add-on consultancy services as customers begin to do more with the Fuse platform.”

— Mads Høj Jensen, CEO, Blendit Learning

“It makes sense on every front. The benefits to customers are clear for all to see and by banding together, both Fuse and Blendit are seeing additional — and recurring — revenue streams. Blendit becomes a ready-made SaaS business without having to develop or maintain any software, and in return, we’re jointly developing the market.”

— Steve Dineen, Founder & President, Fuse
